Junior Staff VolunteerJunior Staff program assists Club members ages 13 to 18 in exploring a career in youth or human services, particularly Boys & Girls Club work. Young people prepare for future roles as human services professionals by participating in career development activities, discovering the importance of community service, building customer service skills and completing a Club apprenticeship. The program develops Club members’ interpersonal skills, work ethic and sense of community responsibility.
- Junior Staff are required to attend the club a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 2 hours a day.
- They are selected by an interview process each April.
- If selected, an annual membership fee of $25 is due at time of enrollment.
- Jr. Staff are required to attend training the last week of May in order to participate in the program each year.
